Come and have a ride around in the racer.sunshine is booked all day,and a beer the night before,if you can make it.

Paul

Me and JC will be there, going back to the RTing on the 29th this month with Manthey Racing should be a good day can you make it?

Russell

Cancelled Donnington just to pay PCGB to be with u all............................fresshly painted , i hope !!!!!

Should be a good day then, shame the doc cant make it.look forward to seeing you all again.
What about a beer if you are gioing down the night before,or a party in the camper!
Cant make the ring russ, its a shame, i am at Rockingham 2 days after the ring day,so just to tight on time. Will be there in november though, with out a doubt!I also have to save up for a carrera gt!
Out of interest russ, what speed were you getting up to at the end of kemel/spa.My car would only go to 160,but was doing this speed a third of the way down and still 160 at the 100m board. My car is either under powered +all the drag of the big bannana etc.Doing rouge in 5th & 6th,as mad as can be but it still would not go over 160.
JC sayed he was geetting 172 at the end of kemel.
I have booked her in for a power run next week after the donnington race on sunday,i will just have to get wayne on the job, have just ordered a boost gauge.
Why was your car ovber boosting?
Regards

Serious comment ,even i was into 170 s Paul...................cant do nite before but will come really early for b' fast if ur heads hurting?

Or going straight on whilst throwing dummy out of window in a sulk with your loverly new pads. [;)]

Russell throw his dummy out,never!!![:D]
Although he did throw it one night in the pistonklause/tiergarten It bounced all around the room, off all 4 walls and every body ducking.Mind you it should have been me doing that when we got the bill for dinner and the cheap wine.
I know what you mean about being busy at the end of the straight, its just my data logger was confirming 160mph while the speedo was reading 170 ish.And of course 10mph is a lot,to drag off the lap times.

My speedo is pretty much bang on the money (checked against Origin B2GPS) so would think the 280kmh indicated is not far short of the mark. My longer sixth is probably a bit too long to optimise speed on Kemel, the new one should be more the ticket and may be good for another couple of MPH.

Another point, Russel and I were running full wing on the back.

Thanks jc,i am going to try a smaller wing in the sec race at donny this week end,and measure the times against each other. This big bannana thing has a gurney strip on as well, which seems to work fine in the corners, but must be dragging off on the long straights
I have also put some door seal rubbers in,as this was causing a lot of drag and noise on the straight with the plastic doors,i was also getting road water spray on me from the passenger door in the very wet race,it was flying in at 150mph!
I wonder how much grip and forward speed i would get with a standard front and rear wing package.!? My speedo is deff out a little ,i have a dl1 logger fitted which seems to be spot on and consistant.

Paul, should be at Donington to watch you, Graham and nobby, put on a good show, having to pay to watch!
Hopefully Russell can sort me out with some back boxes so the red car can come out to play, she's on standby for C/Combe, white one on a diet ( 60kg coming out, but I think I'm in trouble with the wiring loom.........did it need one?)

Paul

LOL at paulr!! You big snob not wanting to leave the RSR in the general car park! I went to watch racing at Croft in my RS recently (British GT Champs) and I tried to get in the paddock.......but they made me park in the field with everyone else. I did indeed fear for my front splitter.
