simple solutions to 993 lighting ??

Does anybody have experience of aftermarket bulbs etc that actually provide better lighting on the 993.
Of course it is possible to take the high cost replacement route, but I am curious about alternatives, and their effectiveness. Any suggestions ???

ordered in tha aftermoon, arrived next morning...fitted in 10 mins.....they really do make a difference, I can now drive the car at night and this has to be possibly the best £18 I have ever spent on the car.

I have just put some Halfords 50% brighter H1 lamps in - under £20 and very good.

I have also put a higher watt BMW lamp in the side lights which looks much better - I have posted about these you could do a search and/or I will try and find the part number later.
