Looking forward to this. A group of us will be meeting at the following locations

M3 Fleet Services (South/West Bound) depart 08:45
M27 Rownhams Services (West Bound) depart 09:30

Consider this an open invitation to join us for the drive to Beaulieu.

We plan to be there too.

Now we just need to persuade Peter to burn the midnight oil and get his 400bhp monster ready in time [:D]

Shame, I'm marshalling the Heritage Rally that day. []

That's a pity, Paul. There are a number of interesting things on that day. I wish people would let me organise their calendars so that I don't have to make choices between events I want to go to!

I'm hoping to go, but I'll be flying in from Berlin late sTurday night. So I may show up late with a grubby unwashed car. But I guess I have a history of that. Swmbo might also have an opinion on me arriving late then being out the door at 630 am.

The forecast indicates that the weather will be smiling on us! Hope to see some of you there.

We had a great day at Beaulieu, I think I heard the announcer say there were over 600 Porsche, I can certainly believe it.

I finally got to see the 944 Cab with Gull wing doors in the flesh. I have to admit he has done a very good job. Lose the bonnet vents and the rear diffuser and I could cope with it [:)]

I agree Paul...I've seen pictures of this car before, can't recall if here or FB...it's not my cup of tea either but I can appreciate the work that's gone into it. Not sure about it's aerodynamic properties though, I wouldn't want to drive at speed with that rear diffuser fitted...looks very scary...

Pete

edit: lower diffuser that is....:)

It was a great event :) Here's a link to Beaulieu's Flickr page of photos from the day.
