Sinking Exhaust

Hi,

A little advice required if possible.
I've owned my 2006 boxster from new and never had any problems.
however of late i've noticed my exhaust is sinking further away from the car.
What was a 20mm gap all round at the rear is now about 50mm.
I looked under the car and the exhaust and mountings are not loose and are firmly in place.
I'm currently working away and am unable to get it along to a garage so thought i'd ask here until i get it home.
Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue ?

Cheers

Jon

There was a recall for some cars, but i think these were 2005 registration. The fix was to install a few washers from recollection. The tailpipe is a single section that bolts onto the exit tubes from the left and right silencers, so you should be able to free things off and adjust yourself. I do have a copy of the Porsche TSB with instructions and measurements, but i'm away from home presently - you should be able to access it via www.renntech.org forums.

Thanks Black80XSA,

It was obvioulsy too early in the morning for me when i posted as mine is a 05 reg not 06.
Hopefully it sounds a straight forward enough problem to fix.
I'll check out the renntech forum and hopefully sort it out next time i'm home

Many Thanks,

Jon
