Siverstone Classic

Ill be there all three days -dont know if there will be Register Parking? [8|]

Since people arrive at different times no easy to organise by Register- maybe we will all be lumped together[;)]

Parking was very well arranged last year and I don't expect it to be any different this year.

Have you let the club know you have a Boxster?
If so you are in the register!
See me at the event for a register sticker.

I've NO IDEA how we will be parked!

Hi Mark

I've just renewed my membership and updated the vehicle details at the same time.
I'm at Silverstone with my grandson for the Saturday and Sunday so will try to find you at some point over the w/end.

We'll be there too.

Regarding parking, why don't we tell 'the organisers' how the Boxster register wants to do it Mark? So folks, how exactly do we want to arrange it? By year? By colour? In a circle? In a line? Straight? Diagonal?

I'll be there from Fri-Sun, booked in on the MG stand, but we haven't managed to get my mates Midget finished in times so will be taking the Boxster, can I get a spot on the club stand, I know it's late but would be a shame to just park it on the camp site all weekend.

Alan

We have committee's, Register Secretary's, Regional Organisers. Directors and Display Registers to make these decisions!

If we start telling these lot what to do what do you think they will call us? [;)]

Lets do it by Chassis number, oh and 2 groups for Finnish built and Stuttgart built cars [;)]

Seriously, the club having an area at the event will mean that someone "up high" will have decided how we are parked. As space WILL be limited (it always is) then creative arrangements of circles, mobius strips, or hypercubes is probably out of the question.

While nothing to do with me this year [:D] I have no doubt that if you wanted to do something impressive within the space allocated for Boxsters everyone would be delighted by your enthusiasm (assuming it is within the space allocated).

944's use to do the red, black, red, black, red, black line up which did look pretty damn sexy. Boxster could be silver, silver, silver, another colour, silver, silver, silver [;)]

Note to self: Need to pre-order a forklift or crane for Mark so that he can position the cars one on top of each other, ie within the 'one' space allocated for Boxsters [:)]

So that's what they do. Can't say I'd ever noticed the results of all this collective decision-making at previous events.

Members who show a bit of initiative possibly?
