Skid Control

I have recently posted this on R16 and would now like to see if there is any interest from R31 ....

Following the purchase of my first Porsche this summer I am now keen to
continue driving throughout the winter, however as this is also my
first rear wheel drive car I am now contempleting a skid control session at
CastleCombe.

Having made enquiries I have found that each session can accomodate 12
people and thought it would be more fun if I could attend a session of
like minded Porsche owners.

Would you be interested in attending such a session (half day) at a cost of £85? I will let them know that we all own Porsches and would like to concentrate on rear wheel drive control. Before taking it any further I would like to gauge whether there is sufficient interest.

There is a good review of what to expect at ... http://travel.ciao.co.uk/Castle_Combe_Skid_Pan__Review_5609654

I've not driven round the skid pan but I've spent an enjoyable few hours watching others get to grips with the course [:)]

Hi Paul
I am out of the area (R9) but would love to join in on this. I will make myself available at any time for this, weekends or weekdays ! Just missed out on Donington day and would love to learn 'rear end control'.
Cheers Trevor

Hi, I'd be interested as I have driven in the the snow in mine and slid all over the place - great fun !

Having driven BMW's in snow in the past, snow is the only thing that keeps my C2 on the drive!
I like fun sliding, but not at any price.
