Slate Grey 964 C2 Stolen ..........

Got to work this morning to find an email from the current owner of my old 964 C2 RS-alike to say that it was stolen from outside his house in Maida Vale yesterday. There was no sign of forced entry, so can only assume it was put on a trailer.

Anyway, just a general post to ask people to keep an eye open for the car - it is pretty distinctive and I can't imagine it would be easy to sell on. Briefly the spec is ........

1990 C2 reg no G747 CHP
Slate Grey Metallic
Front brake vents fitted
Cup mirrors
RS rear bumper middle section
Cup 1 17 inch rims in black with silver rim and coloured crests
Toyo T1R tyres
Rear half cage (Safety Devices)
Rear seats deleted, black RS style interior carpets and door cards
Blue Luke harnesses fitted both sides
Recaro SPG XL seats fitted both sides
Momo wheel
Front strut brace
993 brakes with drilled discs

I will update with chassis and engine number when I have them

I feel really bad for the owner as I know what a great car it is and how much work has gone into it (money that is unlikely ever to be recovered)

Please keep your eyes peeled, particularly those in the trade .......

thanks,

Jamie
