Slicks

i got a set of 18" wheels from H&S last year - very light (as light if not lighter than the mags allegedly) and shod with (used) slicks..
they need the car to be set up with lots of neg camber to fit and not rub by all accounts
i don't think i'll get the chance to fit them this year as moving house is proving to be a nightmare - and the car is tucked away at the moment..
you're welcome to borrow them if you like and give them a go - give me a ring if you want to try them.
btw - saw your car at gt1 last weekend then saw you pottering round cobham town centre - a maritime '64 certainly stands out a bit...[]

Yep, was in town to get some car tax after MOTing it at GT1 - Craig said he'd tried to wind up your other half saying it was your car.
Cheers
Ian
let me know about the wheels - we may be moving into rented in the very near future (ie 3-4 weeks) in which case they may end up in storage for the season dependant on where we end up..

not sure how true the comment is regarding 240/610-R17 being ideal for 9" or 7" rims?.. would be interested in some myself if thats true; I have 7.5's and 9's
wonder if I can get through an MOT with cut slicks? []
