Slight coolant loss

Hi All,

More money... doh!

I noticed that i was losing a very small amount of coolant over the last couple of weeks.. hardly even noticeable.

However, popped into Jasmine again this morning and had a good poke around.... glad i did... we found a tiny split in the bottom Radiator Hose right next to the clip to the water pump.

Part ordered and to be fitted this week.

Got to keep on top of these Lux's.... [;)]

Price not bad @ £29.00 for the hose.... could have been worse, it might have been the water pump []

Mine's had exactly the same at it's service, you're lucky - it lasted years longer than mine!

Unreliable cars though, who'd have thought a rubber pipe would fail, slightly, after only about 20 years? [:D]

I was losing a liitle oil and coolant last summer. Replaced the oil/ water matrix and the seal. Caught it just in time. Now the car uses no oil or water and oil pressure is spot on.[;)]
