Slight misfire with code P0304.......

I have had very few problems with my 986, but just recently, she has run just a little irratic at higher revs.
She drives smooth up to 4-5k revs and then after that it's a little irratic.....
Today the light came on and I hooked up to reader ( cheap one ) and gave the code P0304.....
I had read earlier that the air mass sensor might be at fault.... And wondered if this code also give this code off......
I have just replaced the crank shaft sensor which solved a huge mystery and problems, so I guess MAF sensor might be on its way too....
But then I have just read about spark plugs and coil packs.....

Any advice from this more experience than myself :))
 
P0304 is a misfire on Cyl 4 only. A faulty MAF would give different codes, and affect all cylinders.

Sounds like a coil pack to me. Possibly a plug, or less likely a fuel injector.
