Slightly sooty exhaust gen 2 turbo s

I have now done 3500 miles in my gen 2 turbo s and it is magical as a car, but it seems to deposit a lot of soot on the exhaust tips around the bottom of the rim that comes off easily with stainless cleaner but also specs of soot on the back apron and underside of the spoiler, which again come off easily.

Anyone else found this?

Same for me. Noticeably more difficult to remove when in wet weather. Was thinking about a chat with local OPC soon about it. Have found using Meguiars NXT metal polish the best as lays down a protective layer. Aside from that, nothing to complain about[:D] looking forward to 5th Gear on Channel 5 tomm (Friday 6/5) Turbo S v GT-R!!
