I have found some difficulty when filling up my car (2000 C4 Cab), and the degree of difficulty varies slightly from garage to garage (although I usually try to use the same one, as they do RON97 at a good price).
I find that the fuel flow cuts out prematurely as it's not getting down the filler neck and in to the tank quickly enough, so I have to adjust the position of the fuel nozzle and ease off the trigger until I get the flow about right, and keep checking the pump to see how much has gone in, so I can assess which click actually indicates "tank is full"...
Apart from finding a slower filling pump (!), is there a technique or specific position that I should use?
Does anyone else have this problem?
TIA.
