small factory upgrade on 1990 model 944s?

when i ordered the new headlining from Southbound for my last 1989 s2,,,,one of the things i could not track down or buy anywhere were the small black cards either side that were fitted below the headlining and above the seatbelts and the best the chaps could do was refurb because they had water ingress and attached them back on either side,,
Tonight i noticed my 1990 s2 does not have these cards fitted so a big bonus should i ever need to replace the headlining,,,,our chaps said the" factory stopped adding the cards after 89 because of assoc problems with them"
Anyone else have this on there 90 models onwards?
thanks,,jasonp

hiya Simon,,,
hope your well,,,
intiallly i thought my car had a new headlining fitted but when i took her in ,the chaps at the garage assured me that on 1990 models forward,,no more back black cards below headlining and above back seats next to or just above the seat belts anymore ,,,
i tried very hard to get 2 new cards for my last s2 but they proved "hens teeth",,,,
i grab some photos but will have to ask to get them loaded up as even after these years i still cant get photos to load up...
cheers Simon,,,,,,,jasonp
