When I was installing the wiring for my retrofit PSE I had to undo the bolts for the seat to get access to the sill panel. At the time I smelt an electrical smell and a waft of smoke coming from under the seat. I was worried at the time so I disconnected the battery. Days later connected battery and no problems ( now been connectedfor 2 weeks). Just gone for a drive to test the epic sounding PSE and got the smell again and my forward/reverse powered seat motor doesn't work. I can here the relay still clicking.
2 question.
1.The seats are permanently connected to power so why would the problem wurh the motor only happen when thd ignition is on?
2. How the hell do I get my seat out when the rear bolts are covered and the motor has died?
