smoke through the vents!!!!!!

So yesterday I gave myself plenty of time in the morning, LUCKILY because she let me down again. The battery was completely flat, the fan must have come on in the night randomly. Anyway I have ordered the two prong temp sensor (as opposed to the 3-pin one which I fitted), then i guess the next thing to try is the fan relay (over £100 I think). SOOO today I filled up with petrol in the morning and drove away, safe in the knowledge that I was way ahead of schedule and suddenly smoke starts pouring through the vents into the car. I panicked and got out, switching the engine off and luckily an AA guy was pulling out. I flagged him down and he resentfully obliged. He told me that the washer jets are heated and one had shorted out, resulting in this smoke. So he snipped the wires and taped them as I continued on my way with an extremely smelly car, lol. Im not really bothered about this small problem but I guess its another niggly thing to stick at the bottom of the list.

Anyway, thats my story so far this week.
