Does anyone else have high oil consumption issues with their 991 I've used 3rd of the oil since it was service 2000 miles ago. The car is only driving carefully, who would thrash £100,000 car. Last year the same issue but the dealer thought was a blown turbo, I'm sure the 2017 3.0 S engine has a fault. If any one knows of a fault please let me know ferrar.1000@yahoo.co.uk. thanks

I’ve done a few "spirited” drives to max revs, and nearly a dozen trackdays, in 23,000 miles in my 2017 Carrera S. It’s never grumbled about oil consumption. I have had more frequent oil changes by choice, usually after I’ve done two or three track sessions. But it’s running perfectly. They are a sports car you know, maybe pottering about is not the best thing and it actually needs a good thrashing every now and then? Or you’ve got a problem engine there…

not in a 991.2, but in my 991.1 (and boxster 987) oil consumption hardly noticeable - 1/10th of a litre every few months maybe - but not always. Think you should get that checked out with that amount of oil consumption.

Are you sure the reading is correct?
My last 991.1 S had variable readings
after carefully waiting one minute with the engine off hot. Eventually OPC agreed a sensor change
