Just wondering if any of you have had this problem?? When i haven't driven the car for a while (say 10 days or so), when the car warms up the cabin fills with smoke coming from the heater/fresh air vents!! Quite alarming at first, requiring the windows to be wound down to breath appropriately! Smells like a bit of oil burning. Then it clears and doesn't happen again if driven regularly. Car is running really well otherwise.

Took it to the specialist i bought it from and he thinks there may be a bit of oil in the heat exchangers which accumulated as it stood still for a couple of weeks, but couldn't find any oil leaks to account for it. As it happened again after sitting unused for 10 days i am going back to see if he can have another look at it.

Any one know something i don't about this problem? should i be more worried?

any responses greatly appreciated.

cheers

You need to get the car up on a lift with the engine running for a while and trace the leak.
