Hi guys

first post!

Am travelling to to the alps this winter and need some chains. Just wondering if anyone has any to rent? It's probably a one-off trip so prefer not to have to store my own set for it never to see the light of day again.

Thanks

Hi Rob

My question could easily win the most stupid of the day award- here goes:

Are you looking to be legal or do you expect to use them?

Reason for asking is that I bought some snow sock for my car as we are going to Reims in December. They are not strictly necessary for our trip but i decided to buy as we may do some more. I believe that they would be legal in the Alps but clearly will struggle in heavy snow.

Have a great trip.
