Hi all,
I`m having my `89 Carrera Sport resprayed at the moment - i`m also changing it slightly - to `Club Sport` colours i.e. wheels, decals. I`ve also added a ducktail as a personal preference. This forum looks very useful and interesting, so I hope I can contribute something useful in return for the mountain of tips i`m already finding on here.
Check out my progress so far here...

Cheers guys. Speak soon, no doubt.

Hi Jean, My Targa's having a bare metal respray in about a weeks time, let us know how you get on and I'll do likewise.

The car has areas of corrosion similar to yours and the front nearside wing is being replaced plus new inner sills and door shuts each side.

By the way I sourced the parts myself, I got the door shuts and inner sills from design 911 and I got a brand new nearside front wing off of ebay for £400. Its a genuine Porsche item as well!

Information overload!! So many answers to all the little things I`ve wondered about - new ideas - (think I might ditch my rear pads from the bumper too, it looks excellent), contacts - Ronnocco Porsche sounds interesting - GT1 in Chertsey could come in handy, LOADS of useful stuff on here!!
SP-CS, I`m not expecting the car back at any particular time, as I`ll get impatient!
I`ll just see how it goes...I may need some measurements from you when the time comes to fit my decals, if that`s ok?
Glenn - (my name too), - I`ve seen your respray thread - I`m following that too - that wing was a find!
Anyway - I have to sleep now - I`m in Japan, and it`s late - pity - I want to stay up and carry on reading. Ah, well - there`s always tomorrow...[:)]

Jean,
Great thread on your Club-Sport look a like with RS ducktail.

I had thought buying a white 3.2 and going down the red or blue route myself, but ended up waiting for a silver 3.2.

Look forward to seeing the finished article.
