Rcvd this e-mail from our Register Director, Robin Walker.

Any suggestions, serious or otherwise, as usual!!![;)]

1, For the meeting, (Regions and Register Secretaries Seminar, Sunday 27 November) could you bring with you any dates for which you may be organising events for the 964 Register.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]The events do not have to be finalised by the time of the seminar, but may be planned for a particular date. Other RS's and RO's will be doing the same so you will be able to see what else is planned to happen on the same day.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]This means that they can be uncluded in the events calendar for next year, and therefore will appear on the Wall Planner for 2006.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]2, Will you please give some thought between now and the seminar to the subject of items that you would like for your Register.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]These could range from a new Gazebo,or a flagpole and flag, to other things you feel should be in the possession of and available for the benefit of your Register members.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]You will be asked for the list of items at the seminar for us to discuss and hopefully put into the budget plan for next year.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]These items will be purchased with the money which we are receiving from Porsche, as a tangible part of the agreement we made during the negotiations prior to signing the Licence Agreement and Contract of Co-operation with Porsche AG.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I have posted this elsewhere before but it applies here also.
1. Online access to Porsche factory manuals, preferably online (I know they can be viewed at HQ (not exactly usefull, really)
2. Access to Porsche tools on a hire and deposit basis for our model. Particlarly the more expensive items such a system tester 9288. Our cars are now 12+ years old it's not exactly an unrealistic proposal. Especially with a 100k bung from Porsche and a contract of "co-operation"!
3. organising of the above tools access "could" be handled by designated register official?? and hq for the deposit ?
4. Club and factory backed ring trip !!!!!!! ????? Des
