Did anybody see the 3.2 carrera in fifth Gear they are giving away?

Made all the right noises about the marque and how great it is (reliable, driving experiance, value etc etc) but I couldn't help thinking that it didn't look like the 15k car they implied it was.

Was it just me, or did any other anoraks spot the 1st jobs they would undertake

Not overly keen on the exact one they had, and definately wouldn't pay near £15k for it. 5th gear has gone up in my estimations now after all the nice tings they said about the 3.2 in general though!

Pity the sound seemed so muted - I could barely hear it. I was hoping they would give it at least a small amount of death rather than the "brooding, atmospheric driving in some falling down factory" nonsense.

Would that be removing the wheel weights off the outside rims???

I really detest that, especially on fuchs!!!

I have to agree - £15K for a white non G50 with 91k on the clock sounds ambitious. I didn't think it looked anything special (wheels looked like they needed a refurb when they did a close up and the seat beading was coming apart). Don't get me wrong I think whoever wins it will be very happy, but I wonder why they didn't give it the full beans ???? Makes me suspicious that something's not quite right with it - they usually chuck cars around willingly (remember the Capri that they were giving away ???)

Interesting how no one has picked up on the answers to the questions?[&:]
None of the answers are correct!
It was Ferry's son who designed the 911 (Butzi _spelling?)
Not Dr. F. Porsche.
So there![:-][:-][:-]

Ferry is actually another Ferdinand, but you know that is not what they meant....

Butzi is Ferry's son (917 designer)
Ferdinand Alexander Porsche
