having bullied Robin Duckett and his team into actually holding (provided anough of us enter)the soapbox Derby at Brands Hatch, we now only have 4 weeks to put a soapbox togeather.

we desperatly need help putting the bits togeather into a working machine.
i have a garage full of bits and can offer accomodation, food, plasters, antiseptic and sympathy .

please please please if you can help out in anyway then get in touch, im willing to risk life and limb piloting the thing..but im useless with tools last years offering was made up of string, cardboard,a old bar stool and bits of wood.

im happy to except sponcership from anywhere, so if you want your garage, business, club, forum, strip club advertised at the PCGB national event then help me build a soapbox and all the advertisine space on the soapbox and driver is all yours.

last year i took 4 trophies home with me[8D]

I think that was in reference to what she had to drink before plucking up courage to get in the thing [:D]

More to the point, what help do you need - and don't just say 'everything'.

How long would this take ? Does it need designing ? What sort of tea do you supply ?
And many more like it.

I have time on my hands at the moment (too many postings, too little work done !), but a slightly sick car (for which I have all the medicine, and also an hot garage, in which I melt).

What I'm saying is that I could help, but don't know if my expertise would fit (ain't I modest ?), when/after my car makes a full recovery.

John, thanks for your offers of help. but we have now run out of time. and as it still seems un certain whether or not there will infact be a soapbox event, we are disinclined to spend the money this year.
