Social meeting

Hi,

I'm new (second time around) to the Club and was wondering what the Social meets are about. I see there's one on Tuesday and if I can get a day off work thought it might be a chance to meet up. What happens? What sort of turnout can I expect? When? Where?,etc.

Can anybody give me a bit of an insight? I'm in North Lancs so it's not just 10 minutes up the road for me.

Thanks!

Hi Gareth

When you say you are in North Lancashire where are you located?

The Social meeting on Tuesday 6th January at Castle Inn Bassenthawite will be a Noggin & Natter type evening with about 25-30 attendees . Mike Trotter is my ARO looking after events in the Cumbria area and will be running this events. Mike's contact details are in PorscheFile

the monthly meeting at Garstang Golf Club on Wednesday 21st January will be a talk by Assistant Regional Organiser, Mac McLeod about his "Life & Cars" the 1st 50 Years. This will be a light hearted presentation with a lot of fun and banter.

We usually get around 40 members, including wives/partners attending. We start at 20.00 hours and have free sandwiches at about 21.00, followed by a raffle with proceeds to regional funds. Mac and his wife Sue help me with events in the Lancashire area.

You will be made most welcome at either, or both, events.

I look forward to meeting up with you.

Regards

David
