Soft-top questions

Just curious, I have a blue soft-top and can see 2 short faint white lines appearing, on either side, across the same line just behind the first support in the roof. Is this a sign of possible future damage or is normal. Just out of curiosity, if the soft-top fades (mine is outdoors all of the time), is it possible to have them restored to original colour, are there any DIY products out there that do this.

yes i have noticed wear marks on the roof which is located at both sides. is this a manufacturing fault?

I have a blue top. I use the Auto glym Cabri refurb stuff. Cleaner and waterproofer. Mine looks rather drab on occasions. However, the cleaner really does chear it up. Adds a bit of depth to the colour.

As for the marks that you refer to, are these not simply fold lines from where the hood collapses? I have something like them on mine. Always been there. I don't think its of any consequence.
