Can’t help on this one Bill, but just make sure that your battery is in tip-top condition as this can be the source of many ailments on the modern Porsches … including your starting problem!😳

Jeff

Thanks Jeff Battery looks new however I shall top it up and get it checked

Regards Bill

Noticed my roof won't continue on down after giving it the "Chop" to fold the screen as I'm lowering it.

Restarting the Car has cured it but its a pain

1999 Boxster

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Are you saying, the roof opens fine to start and then you stop it part way to fold the rear screen in and then no response when you press the switch to complete folding the roof away?

Had this with a 986 and it was loose connection to the folding roof relay. Unplugged the multi plug / cable and plugged it back in and that sorted it.

Hope this helps

Hi Marc Yes, exactly that! I will search out this cable - presumably the one attached to the roof directly ? Many thanks
