Soggy brakes

So, after leaving my Boxster standing for 6 weeks due to a job abroad and a serious lack of interest in the sales department (you would think a 99T in Basalt black with lux pack for £20K would sell quickly) I returned to give my toy a blast.

After a gentle run in fro about 50 miles it was time for a serious blow out, but after departing the local dual carriageway at a speed I wont mention for fear of prosecution my brakes exhibited the following horrible traits:-

1) Normal brakes followed by
2) Brake pedal decending to double normal travel with limited loss of velocity
3) ABS kicking in + brown alert idicator on driver.

This was on a dry day with good tyres and no warning indicators, pads are all in good condition as are the rotors (discs in my terminology)

Now, I'm thinking stuck caliper or brake fluid full of air/water, any idea's from the forum??!

Or a leak from somewhere in the brake system?

Hard pedal pressure squirts the fluid out of (say) rh front brake line.
Pedal goes further...
LH front brake caliper is doing all the work so wheel approaches lockup
ABS kicks in.

JUST A THEORY!

Will check that out now, pedal pressure returns when the brakes have cooled down though which makes me think of air or water in the fluid.
