At work,so been busy browsing and found this crowd, some of the stuff on here is making me drool, if its not too sad to say so, lol. Excellent prices on Wastegates and the exhausts look great, anybody dealt with them, cause seriously thinking of getting my tial and a 4" exhaust from here, even with carraige and customs it will be a great deal. Very tempted. Anybody know of them?

Look in porsche 944 section

No idea what they are like to deal with, but I want this! http://www.speedforceracing.com/index.php?productID=736
(and a stronger pound/weaker dollar)

The only supercharged S2 engine I know of is Peter Empsons - and that certainly moves!
I dont think he paid anything like that for it either.
looks great all the same!

I bought my original TiAL wastegate and adaptors from Speedforce and was very hapy with them. Tim (the owner) seems to have a good reputation on the Rennlist forum. IIRC Peters supercharger kit was originally a Speedforce offering (could be wrong though)

Their stuff is nice but they are very slow, it seemed quite hard work to get the bits I'd paid for (I'm still owed a belt that they forgot to supply, for example!).

ORIGINAL: Tam Lin

ORIGINAL: JamesO

If you have an S2 engine, then look up Barry Hart's posts on here & on Piston Heads as to why longevity of S2 supercharged engines is not great..something to do with our piston shape. The 968 which the kit is designed for is better

Ah good job my engine is mostly 968 then!

Peter, are they just slow to send stuff over? How long from ordering to getting your bits did it take? In regards to LHD and RHD, I take it that its only the manifold that is different, i.e if I was to order an exhust off them would it fit ok, Was thinking of getting the Tial wastegate plus adaptors, the turbo down pipe/elbow thing, and a full exhust, would this all fit my 1986 RHD Turbo? Thanks all

I had to look back at my old emails to check, and they took exactly 4 months from taking payment to me receiving them. I'm not particularly impatient, but I wasn't warned of any delays at the point of order, so assumed it was all off the shelf stuff...

Hell four months sounds well exessive, was that your supercharger kit or something? I would like to think they would have exhausts and wastegates off the shelf, guess I would need to talk to them. Does anybody know about the exhausts, concerning lhd and rhd, is everything the same on a rhd 944 turbo compared to a lhd, other than the exhaust manifold? Which if so I am assuming it is only different because of the steering column position?

It was just for some parts - silicone and aluminium hoses, that sort of thing (basicaly anything that was missing from my used SC and bits required to convert the kit from a 968 one to an S2 one). It cost a few hundred dollars from memory so wasn't a tiny order by any means.
