Exactly what I was thinking. If the creator put his mind to it he could make something amazing and truly lovely. Sadly that example doesn't qualify.ORIGINAL: 944 man
High in quality of finish and execution but low in taste.

Best of luck to him. Good workmanship is always appealing, and I can forgive him many things if they are done well. However that car is a step too far for my tastes, well done or not!ORIGINAL: pauljmcnulty
That's the guy who built it selling the car. Like it or not, the quality of the parts was superb, and he was a real enthusiast.
He was so disappointed in the quality of the regular bodywork mods available, that he wanted to make and sell far higher standard versions, but found the market too small. Things like the doors, the colour scheme etc. are mad, but why not? The car was destined for scrap, for pretty minor damage, so it's a 944 saved, and shows what you could do if you want to go bonkers on one. I do agree it's a car more suited to a Miami seafront than grey, wet England. [&:]
I'd buy it like a shot if I was able too. It was that good, and really livened the endless rows of silver Porsches up a bit at the RAC event.
