Someone has clonked my car with a door grrrr!

This scratch is in the middle of my door, its totally noticeable.
Its not dented but they have clearly rested their door on mine and then got in as the scratch also goes up and down a few times. Double Grrr!!

Ive tried using my super resin polish but all its done is make the scratch stand out even more.
Any tips on making it less noticable?

My car is Basalt Black colour.

I find the basalt black touch-up paint works well (not a facetious comment, some colours seem to be much easier to touch up than others). Good luck!

Does the touch up paint look like a 'painted over blob' though? Or does it blend into the scratchs?

Chipex do exact colour match for your chassis number and it can be applied easily ( even by me!) without looking blob like checkmitnout at chipex.co.uk

If you are going to DIY, I would try Chipex: http://www.chipex.co.uk

Some of the ChipsAway people are good. If you are near Northants, try Paul Smith (diver944 on this forum) as he has a good reputation.

Boils my piss these fucking morons who disrespect other people's property.[] Hope you get it sorted

Another Chipex recommendation Samantha if you want to take the DIY route.

A bit expensive (discount if you're a Club Member!) but it works well on small chips and scratches; although never as good as a professional repair.

hi Samantha how long and wide are the scratches
when i work on a scratch i try to get the paint that
is closest match and in stead of using a touch up
brush or applicator i use a small size syringe
with needle to apply small amounts of paint
to the inside of the scratches and build up layers of paint
to blend and fill up scratch it takes time but the finnish
will be much better and you will not paint over
good parts of paint to minimise overspill on to good
painted surface then give it a tee-cut and polish
hope this helps merry christmas

How deep are the scratches?
If they are only fine surface scratches in the lacquer, you can carefully polish them out using 1500 grade wet-or-dry paper used with soapy water, then polish with T-Cut metallic to bring the gloss back. Just be careful not to go through thr lacquer. If they are deep, only a touch-up or respray will work.

They are only light scratches, at first i thought it was a blog of dried tree sap.

I'll try chipex or tcut, will wait till after xmas to sort it.

Thanx everyone
Merry xmas x
