Something Slipping

Hi,

Took the car out at the weekend and it did something it hasn't before. I was accelarating fairly hard through all of the gears and it started to give a sensation of slipping in all of them, so the car was revving but not moving forward as quickly as it normally does. Now I have two thoughts in that whilst it wasnt freezing, around 5 degrees, the rear wheels weren't gripping but I haven't felt that before or I have a clutch issue. It only did it once and I tried it again a few times and the car accelarated as normal.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks,

Adam.

Ashley, it has done 61K so maybe time for a change ? It is due a service in April of this year if it is safe to wait.

Richard, I am not sure if it is heavy having not really driven many other manual Porshces but it isn't any heavier than when I bought it last April.

Thanks.

Sounds like clutch, but odd that its the first time its shown its ugly head in all gears. You would normally expect it to show initially in the bottom few gears!

Yes it is a little bizzare, will see how it goes over the next few weeks as I only use once or twice a week. I did notice that 70,000 miles is a clutch change however that would be the 2013 service with the low miles I do.

Thanks,

Adam.

I had my clutch changed last month, even tho the cars only done 60,000. it depends on how the cars been driven(i think mine was used by a housewife for food shopping). i did notice the pedal was alot lighter after it was changed.
