i know you are not a fan of 19 inch wheels but here goes see what you think i hope the picture works im not sure if im in the 18 inch camp or 19
i think the car suits the wheels and looks more modern but it definatly drives better on the 18 incher
i would apreciate any ones input

I wouldn't say I wasn't a fan of 19" wheels (I have them on the Cayman) but I personally wouldn't put them on a 996. It was the Carrera S 19's I'm not too fond of, but that's purely my opinion.

I like the look of yours though.
 
They certainly look great! I have 19s on mine and love the way they look. Unfortunately they don't drive so well, but for the 1500 miles I do a year it doesn't bother me!
