hi all just a quick note,
remember on a previous thread the problems i had with my oil and battery warning lights coming on and it was a bit of a mistery, well after a long run to the porsche festival the problem sorted its self , but on saturday after standing for week, started her up no problem , round town, no problem, went shopping, 1/2 an hour started her up lights on again ,problem so i went up to see mat at autowerk still perplexed, lot of head scratching then he removed the dial from the dash and found that someone had fed a wire from the oil warning lamp to the battery warning lamp [:-] strange i thought.... disconnected that and it was agreed that the oil pressure switch does need replacing as the oil lamp is the only intermittant problem.. that will be done this week. so thanks to all for helping me with my problems hopefully this will be the end of it[]
PS Anyone know why someone would connect the 2 lamps together? mmmmmmmm
