sos button

may be a strange request but what happens if i push the SOS button on the dash ( i do have phone module) Don't want to push to see what would happen !!
 
On mine (996) it asks are you sure before dialing 999. It also is supposed to tell you your exact location, but never sussed that bit out as yet.

Ive heard that if you push the SOS button you alert the powers that be,
President Bush will mobilise the 7th Army to come and rescue you ..

Seriously I have no Idea myself

My 7 year old pushed the SOS whilst waiting in the Car and was very surprised that a "nice lady in the Dashboard" had a chat with him. How he managed it I'm not sure as you do get a warning prompt first.
 
Sounds like the time our (then) 3 year old found our cordless phone. I found it on the floor with the sound of a voice coming out of it.

The display read 999765627883783....

Ooops.
 
As an update to this had a puncture and thought it would be a good time to test the sos button as the 997's have no spare but to my dismay and the operators it dials 112 emergency services number and they ask if you want Fire, Police or ambulance no good to me and as another point you try getting a 235/35/19ZR on a saturday no one keeps them .
