source for gear shift lever bush ?

peanut

Active member
anyone know where I can get the polyurethane bush for the gear lever ?
My lever is getting really loose and sloppy .

Mcnulty mode on: it's only a few quid from an OPC.

Stick it in some hot water before fitting it to make it easier.

cheers I thought they would be about £50 from OPC . The postage on small stuff is usually the killer.
I'll ring Exeter in the morning

Peanut, try Glenn at PC Leicester: he will be more likely to post it out at a better rate. Just not had as much good feedback from Exeter for a while now, which is a shame.

Yes not too bad all things considered, at home now resting and trying to get my head around what happened.

Not even seen my car for two weeks and can't drive for another week, but got a month off work now.

Thanks for asking

ordered up a gear shift bush from pc Leicester this morning [;)]
Also ordered some plastic carpet studs for the hatch carpet at £3 each ! and some metal carpet studs for £4 each (3x seperate pieces)
Not in stock but they'll ring me later in the week when they get them in.

Young Adam couldn't have been more helpful and even sent me a couple of emails with parts illustrations .

There is a man on eBay that sells those fir tree clips for fords, they are the same size and he does all different colours 10 for £3

I saw those but I wasn't sure how they work or how they looked when fitted ? all the ones I saw seemed to be black.
Its little finishing details like missing fixing clips and screws that annoy the hell out of you every time you see them.[]

I bought grey ones from a seller pge4 he even posted my feed back in his add and mentions my car, cheeky man I should get commission

But they fit fine

I am biased but i think Leicester parts dept is ace,how cool is it that the parts guy comes out at a weekend (Rutland) to meet everyone, and in his own family time. That kind of effort is worth supporting if the service is good and prices remain so competitive.
Adam is Glenns sidekick very helpful young bloke.
