There appears to a problem at the moment with the supply of turbo clutch kits.
I have been told that there are no clutch's from Sachs until the end of July.

I have tried...

Berlyn
Frazer Part
Eurocar part
GSF
Porscheshop

If anyone knows of a turbo clutch kit (at a sensible price, cheapest so far £425) sitting on the shelf somewhere could they let me know.

The my grand plan for next week can go ahead..http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=464369

Many Thanks

I'd say you couldn't go too far wrong by trying Lindsey Racing in the states.

I've bought stuff off them before, usually get it in about a week or two.

Price is about the same, but it's going to be more in the finish up with shipping and customs.
You could get an uprated SPEC clutch for about the same money, but of little benefit
unless you're going for more power....

To be honest, you'd probably be better off waiting till the end of July,
it'll end up cheaper to buy it local.

Probably a silly question but have you tried Exeter OPC? I guess they're probably a lot dearer but might be worth a try if you haven't.

A lot of people will probably say not to go down this route but my friend who has a TVR Cerbera 4.5 had his clutch reconditioned by this company. He has already done over 5,000 miles with no problems at all. I would buy new release bearing if I did this. His car had a race engine in it putting out close to 400 bhp and it is fine. Think it only cost about £100 and thats for a dual plate clutch.
