Souvenir hunter or dropped off?

One of my coloured wheel crests has gone missing, although the wheel centre itself is still in place. The remaining adhesive is still there as well. I think it has probably "walked" into somebody's collection but do they ever decide to part company with the wheel all by themselves when they can't stand the pace any longer?

Either way, is it possible to buy just one wheel centre and not have to pay for a whole set. I don't want to opt for the black crest as, for me, the coloured ones provide that highlight to the Carreras.

Any thoughts/sources?

Ivor, My Boxster is about amonth old and i found a crest on the floor the other day. i took it back to my dealership and they replaced the whole cap under warranty. The service guy said he had never seen it before. Anyway washed my car the next day and another came off. Same deal a replacemet was put on. The only thing I can think of is the wheel cleaner I'm using might be effecting the glue under the crest. [8|] A couple of weeks have gone by and so far so good not lost any more but It's wash day again tomorrow!!! Will let you know..........

I know this might sound a bit sad but my Boxster had the black crests but as I didn't want to pay £100+ for a coloured set I invested £5.00 in a few pots of enamel paint and some laquer.

A couple of hours with a steady hand and you would never know.....

And the paint is as tough as old boots so any amount of washing should be fine!

I think you can get a set of black crests for about £30.00?

Tim,
I was just about to ask if you were Scots and then I saw that you were......
From Edinburrry that'll explain the pots of paint etc. an Aberdonian like me would never think of such a thing[:D]
Regards
Bill
