Anyone interested in Spa on 4th/5th August? £650 for the 2 days (single days available at £349 each).

Usual story - out on Ferry on Tuesday night, complain about food. Get to Spa promising not to drink too much on Wednesday. On track thursday/friday. Bit of a night out on Friday, ferry back Saturday night, home Sunday.

So far definites are Me, Gordon C, Steven C, Lindsay M

Looks like I'm destined to miss all the track days this year :( Away on our summer holidays that weekend.

For anyone interested, plan is:
Out - Tuesday 2nd August Hull->Rotterdam with P&O ferries
Wed/Thur 3rd/4th Aug-> Hotel Beau Site, Hockai
Friday 5th August-> Radisson Blu Palace, Spa
Sat 6th August-> Home Rotterdam->Hull, arrive Sun 7th August

Track time is with Goldtrack on 4th and 5th August, get in touch as Gordon as harassed them into a deal!!

Completely baffled by the juxtaposition of "Gordon" and "harassed" but what do I know? The diary says Yes and I'm now trying to talk myself out of it.......

Hi Sandy sorry dates didn't suit our usual crew .. holidays etc .. and way too expensive .. £1k for 2 days !! u can als go to Zolder day after for another £400 with them !!! .. some guys I know down south are doing it ... just feel like some track organisers are taking the piss re crazy prices !!!

Yes Gordon it does seem really expensive, but unfortunately it's the only Spa dates I can make this year, so going to have to bite the bullet I think.
Annoyingly I'm away for the PCGB Knockhill track day next week for the 2nd year running as well.

Totally agree Gordon. Our group has done BaT every year I've been organizing it but prices have gone daft. So we're trying the dutch firm DF trackdays this year and will be there on the Monday before you lot. We also decided that two days on the bounce at Spa for 'road cars' is a bit much so we're just doing the one day at Spa (Mon 1 Aug) and then drive to Holland the next day for a track day at Zandvoort (Wed 3 Aug). It seems to suit the road cars to have a day off in between.
