Spa Francorchamps Weekend - Stickers...

OllieW

Des asked me to design a sticker for those that are attending the 2009 event, and after spending a few minutes in front of my Mac I've put an initial idea together...

Which do you prefer?

Once you all make a decision I will get some printed on vinyl so you can stick them to your car.

Need to work out the cost but they will be heavily discounted [;)]

Great Design Ollie and I have to add this is totally Ollie's inspiration and hard work with no input from myself whatsoever........ I love them all particularly the one with Wings .. it gives a SAS/Parachute Flavour albeit a Porsche 1950's theme ... well done[:D] So it's the Winged one for me please. OR thinking about it maybe one of the other more plain designs ....

Will it be competing for window space or body space ?

From a practical point of view, either the blue or the red lettering --- the yellow seems to be lost.

top job Ollie....liking all the designs, agree with ChrisW that orange/yellow numerics get lost a little bit within central band of belgian flag.

What about whacking the bewinged design on to the back of a T-shirt ?

Thank God I don´t have to design one.... on the one hand no talent, on the other hand Melv would ban me forever for my ideas. You would, wouldn´t you?

For me it´s the red lettering and the winged one on a t-shirt is a great idea. On the back please, otherwise it could look like a winged hot air balloon in some cases, not sure about myself.

Great job,

Blue one looks good to me. The wings look like Bentley not Porsche.

Can you get the VW bit in there too? ;O)

How big will they be? Can't see blue any will do me... agree Winged on back of t-shirt blown right up ...............

It does not matter all good ... Winged on back of T-Shirt large and any of the others as emblem on front of t-shirt and as stickers but larger than posted .. similar size to 15 Jahre stickers ... that's it simple done dusted let's go to print ... so Ollie need quote now for shirts as well ... but in the meantime let the stickers roll in any colour you want ..... no mincing now boys .... [;)]

can'y see blue

Nice one Ollie!!

I love the wings, did remind me of something else though....

but I prefer the one on the left!

I thought it was black too! ChrisW said blue so I thought I was colour blind.

Black one for me please.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you like them. I should do this design stuff professionally [:D]

I will get some quotes to print some white t-shirts with the wing version on the back as big as possible across the shoulder area. General consensus is that the design will have the date in black whether it be the winged version or the plain version.

The plain ones can be printed on vinyl and then stuck on the car/window wherever you want. How BIG do you want them??? Was thinking about making them not too big so when we do them next year for the 2010 event you will chalk up another one next to the 2009 sticker. Bit like the English pilots marking their planes when shooting down the germans!!!

Stickers same two sizes as 15 Jahre ... Quickly could you highlight the Spa Circuit more maybe give it a bright outline and continue to ghost it through the Porsche Badge ...... Cheers..[:)]

Final version, including design for t-shirt...

If you are all happy with this I will speak to clothing suppliers and get costs.

Cheers

Will these be available to us all ( 964 RS club members) or only for those who will be traveling to Spa?[:)]
I think the designs of both the stickers and the t-shirts look absolutely fantastic Ollie!

Spot on Ollie love the complete Ghosted Spa Circuit .... get printing 2 X Shirts xxl and 6 X stickers ... send you a cheque or mail me your bank details ...... Bandit too... private mail

These would be available to anyone I would think .... Matt

I'd like the wings to be in orange please matching the orange stripe in the middle of the badge.

Oh and the t-shirt to be long sleeved and in black[:D]

Yum....black and orange all the way....[:D][;)]
