You might know this, but it´s brilliant.

I put my 993 Cup video and this one side by side and Sean is faster where I did not expect it. Very useful to have him as a benchmark!

Yes. Bruxelles, as we Belgians call it, and the one after. He is also faster in Fagnes.

I don't enter fast enough in these curves. There is a mental note there [;)]

I drove once with a guy who was taking Fagnes very fast, on a constant throttle (including the right to left transition). Only once (in about 5-6 laps) did he have to correct a bit of oversteer in the transition. It was truly impressive. The RSR felt like a big kart. I tried this with Charles' RS (that he had nicely loaned to me for a few laps) but it did not work nearly as well. The rear kept stepping out. [;)]

Rivage 1&2 he looks quicker?   Or Bruxelles and one after for you.

Am I right?

Interesting technique, what does Sean do here (cant see vid at the moment?) I would have thought that using the throttle to balance weight transition was quicker, but I dont know....I never got Spa in a 911. Maybe this year.....should be racing there again hopefully.

Sean seems to be able to carry a lot of speed and balance through the corners....not so much from this vid but from chasing him around Spa!!![:D]

OK I've watched the vid now, pretty impressive isnt it? Not much drama, very smooth, just how it should be. Never looks rushed. Love the line through Eau Rouge, very measured.

For us non Belgians, or perhaps just me, where is Bruxelles? Is it the corner before Stavelot, i.e. between Fagnes and Stavelot?

What's everybody's plans for Spa this year? Definitely looking to get over in 2012.

Have a good festive season everyone!

Ben.

It is the downhill "massive hairpin" that never seems to end after les combes. The place where you know that if you enter too fast, you will spin like this...
