what size spacesaver wheel fits in the front boot (bottom) of a 996 1999 C4 tip? Got a 17 one from ebay and cannot seem to get it ib

From memory it was a collapsable one in my C4s, never had cause to use it though so couldn't be sure

I haven't got one in my C4 either. I understood C4s had a smaller boot due to 4WD kit so they weren't fitted / standard.

Carry some tyre foam and join the AA...

As Geoff says, you will need the 16" "Collapsible" spare wheel, similar to the one in this photo. (The C4S/Turbo was 17")

Part number 996.362.050.00 or 996.362.050.01

That sound as tho a 17" would fit in any sized boot space.

The C2 and C4/4S spacesavers are different. The C2 has a skinny inflated wheel which sits flush against the rear wall of the luggage compartment, whereas the 4s have the collapsible which fits under a floor panel in the compartment.

Sorry crossed wires here, i'm guessing he bought a non collapsible 17" whereas the 4s/turbo have collapsible 17". Is that right?

It isn't clear, but I was assuming Meng bought a 17" collapsible (from a C4S or Turbo) rather than a 16" collapsible (from a C4).

yup stupid me bought 17 inch which i cannot squeeze in my c4
anyone want a brand new wheel 17 inch wheel i will personally auto graph it at no extra charge or swap for a 16 inch wheel
