Spare '87 944s ECU (DME)

So over the winter I was doing some welding and forgot to disconnect the battery. The car has never run properly since. My Porsche mechanic mate has checked all the feeds to the ECU and they are all good. I sent the ECU off to BBA Reman as recommended by Porsche and it is faulty but they are unable to fix it.

Does anyone have a good spare they can loan me so I can confirm if that is the issue before I go and fork out a few hundred quid on a possibly dodgy 2nd hand one?

Many thanks
Rob

Elliott may have a good one for sale if you need it after testing. Not sure if he has any S models in stock right now?

The one I have is

Bosch # 0 261 200 080

Porsche # 944 618 124 00

It ran my 87 944S so maybe worth giving it a go?

Yes identical. My S for some reason was running an S2 ECU so I ordered the one above which worked fine on the car. The only reason I changed it again is because my chassis number said it came with the part number ending 01.

Didn't notice any difference with either ECU in.

Let me know your address and I'll bung it in the post
