Spare 996 turbo air filter + Coolant Leak

Hi
I've had my a/c serviced and an MOT recently (by different garages).
It would appear some kind mechanic misplaced the jacking pad and pushed on the pipes running along the RHS of the u/body.
As it was on the rear corner of the under tray no damage is evident but a small leak puddle was held in the tray and dripped on the garage floor.
The two pipes in question seem to have a microscopic leak from one of the aluminium blocks which join the pipes to their rear sections.
As it's a greenish fluid I take it that they are coolant pipes with O ring seals in the joining blocks.
As there appears to be no damage do you think it's a drain down and fit new O rings job?
Your comments would be appreciated.

Second item. I have a new 996 Turbo Air Cleaner Element which won't fit my car. Is it of any use to someone?
Cheers
Gerry

If the joints are not fractured or bent, then a reseal should be enough. Really annoying though!

You can try 'for sale' section or ebay.

If the fluid is bright green and puddles around the front of the off side rear wheel then it's air con fluid. If it's just the seal that has been disturbed then it will be an easy fix but the air con will need recharging.

I've had a look in the 911 Wayne Dempsey Project book and it shows the outer pipes on the RHS. u/body, located in front of the back wheel,
to be heater core pipes. Can anyone verify or deny this please.

Check the colour of the coolant in the expansion tank, my previous 996tt and the GT2 had pink coolant and the ac fluid is a very bright green. The leak I had on the 996tt was very near the off side rear jacking point, bright green fluid and much more concentrated colour than the water coolant. There is a ac pipe joint under the tray and the pipe and seal can be disturbed by a clumsy placing of the jack I know as I did it!

The pipes running down the driver's side, just under the sill, are definitely aircon pipes. Ask me how I know..... Not the same place as yours, as mine had fretted through where they went through one of the clips. You will probably recognise the colour though:

Thanks for the replies. I think Dave and Richard are right and the book wrong.
I've been underneath and the heater & Ac pipes cross over inside the sill line making it difficult to
follow them. The colour is definitely ac fluid and the alloy blocks are ac connectors.
Although they are generic ac O Rings my local Porsche dealer wants just under £25 (vat and postage)
for 4 rings so I will let the ac man supply them. A job for the new year.
Thanks and seasons greetings.
