After purchasings 6 new plugs and coil packs, I started to tackle the job for the first time, the first plug came out quite easily, but when I compared the new with the old there was a about a 3 m/m difference in length in the new plug,I dred to think what would have happened if I had fitted all 6 plugs and then turned the key, I checked with euro part and the part numbers checked with the car registration.needless to say I fitted 6 plugs of the smaller size,so be advised ,don't rely on part numbers ,and always check the old with the new

~Even stop and think that maybe the old plugs were at the wrong length, did you check your manual to look at what they were meant to be set at?

Would you take the chance of putting longer plugs in when the shorter ones have been running fine, I did not want to risk popping 6pistons. The car now runs smoother with the new plugs, and coils
