Speaker replacement options

Came to refit the speaker unit in the driver's door which had been lying on a shelf for some time, only to find the cat sitting on it and
after I shoo'd him off, I found the little fecker had perforated the outer of the small mid/tweeter. Might as well replace as a pair,
can those who've upgraded please advise best place to get replacement.

Am sure there must be better options than original

If you're not that fussy about the ultimate in high-quality sound then some rubber solution, thinly applied, would probably solve the problem very easily.

I bet that that shape of speaker is only available from Porsche, but an aftermarket one of the right size could be bought and a baffle made to mount it on. Depends upon how creative you are feeling.

If you are worried about the ultimate in high quality sound

mod the backing plate, Vibe Space 5 speakers and change the crossovers[:D]
