Speaker replacement

Hi,

My C4 has the bog standard stereo set up, although it does have the Becker sat Nav head unit.

I successfully changed the dash speakers to Audiobahn AS64PQ. Which are plate speakers that allow the necessary cutting to fit it to Porsche tear drop shaped hole. The problem with these speakers is that they are quiet, even compared to the original paper speakers in the back.

Do you guys think they are quiet because they haven't bedded in, or they need linking to an amp ?

Instead of the Audiobahn, I am also looking at fitting some Infinity 462.5CFP in the rear which are also plate speakers but with a slightly larger medium speaker. But they are 2 Ohm and the speakers coming out are 4 Ohm. So the real question is can I drop in these 2 Ohm speakers without worrying about over heating the head unit ?

(You can't get teh 4 Ohm Infinity Plate speakers in the UK, unless someone knows different)

Cheers
Stu
