2 Way 2 Speaker System
100W Peak Power

I have the standard CDR22 set up in my 996 C2 and have decided to try and upgrade the standard speakers! Has anyone done this without spending £500 on a set of Morel's? I believe the above speakers fit and have heard good reports on them.

Cheers

KFC? I thought they did chicken. [:D]

Seriously, if you do go for them let us know - I would be interested to know how easy they are to fit, and if they are a worthwhile improvement.

Dash top units are a 4" midrange and a .75" tweeter - they are mostly made by Nokia and are alwyas paper cones - about as cheap as they get. Virtually any 4" (100m) 2 way or 2 component system will work. Its difficult to find 0.75" tweeters as most component sets use 1" - these will fit but require bit more time and patience with the Dremel.

The units in the door panels are 5.25" units by the way.
