Special Meeting 27th Sept

All R10 members will be getting a letter from the Club's Regions Director Paul Seagrave regards a special meeting to be held at The Open University on the evening of 27th September to "gauge support for the future activities of the region..." and of course to appoint a new RO to take over from young Mike.

To make finding the venue a little easier, here's a link to a Google Map showing your destination:

If you right-click then choose "Directions too here", Google will do its stuff.

The actual meeting room is in the North Wing at the top floor of that big white-roofed ("Berrill") building - I will put some signs up too. There should be plenty of parking space at that time, either in the visitors' car park directly in front of the building or in the larger one to the East.

I will also ask our Security folk to make sure the barrier is up for a good 20 minutes before kickoff otherwise you'll all have to grovel to be let in - although I'm sure they'll be intrigued by a convoy of Porsches arriving.

I am likely to be at a conference in Manchester that day, so reliant on the train service to Central MK in the evening; however, I still expect to be there before 7.30pm - and will be armed with some (non-alcoholic) refreshments, crisps, etc [:)] (assuming I can get them in past the OU security [8|]).

See you there (as ex-RO)

Thanks for everyone who turned out this evening - a good number indicating there's a strong desire to keep the region running.
