We have a very special region 5 meeting via Zoom this evening at 8pm with ex-BTCC Champion turned Classic Racer - Andrew Jordan for our April club night and if any of you from R7 would like to join us, it would be great to see you.
Andrew will chat about his time in BTCC and his decision to leave to concentrate on his role as Classic Racer and Goodwood Ambassador. In addition, he will talk about the business he runs with his father, Classic Racer Mike Jordan, building Classic Racers.
The diversity of the business is truly interesting having made a name for rapid Austin A40s and Lotus Cortinas winning the St Mary's Trophy at Goodwood, Andrew is now building cars as diverse as Studebakers and Minis.
From the Porsche perspective Jordan Racing built the Peter Auto European 2.0 Litre Cup winning car and now have a number of cars in build, have a full Carrera RSR replica in build, but also run a Cayman GT4 Clubsport for a customer.
Andrew will talk freely and answer questions - it should be a fascinating evening.
If you would like to join us please contact Matt Staines for the Zoom joining details at: r5@porscheclubgb.com
We hope to see some of you this evening.
Kind regards,
Martin
