Specialist Cars of Malton - Spa Francorchamps Trackday Summer 2010 John, Mark and the team at Specialist Cars of Malton invite you to join us for an unforgettable trip to drive at Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, regarded by many top racing drivers as the best circuit in the world! "It is without doubt the best circuit in the world. Eau Rouge is really the most tremendous corner. It is like flying downhill and seeing a big mountain in front of you. You get the feeling that you are driving into the road and then you go up and it is a sensation which is probably the best you can experience and the most satisfaction you can have as a racing driver." "" Michael Schumacher, Seven times Formula One World Champion
The Plan

Leave Malton at 5pm for a convoy drive across the Wolds to Hull where we board our ferry We sail at 9pm, on board there are restaurants, cafes, bars, a cinema, duty free etc. We meet up for Dinner at 8.30-9pm in the restaurant. We have en-suite cabins to spend the night and get a good night's sleep
Monday 28th June We arrive in Rotterdam bright and early, clear customs and passport control We take a leisurely cruise across The Netherlands and into Belgium to our base for the next couple of days, the luxurious Radisson Blu Palace Hotel where we will check in early afternoon. The afternoon is yours to explore the area or to go down to the circuit and spectate, fuel the car ready for the track etc. We meet up again in the evening after Dinner for a briefing on the circuit from our experienced guide.
Tuesday 29th June "" The Big Day! Breakfast in the hotel followed by the short drive to the circuit The track day is an Open Pitlane format meaning you can come and go as you wish doing as many or as few laps as you feel up to depending on your experience, stamina etc. A World Class instructor from RSR Nurburg is available to show you the right lines through the circuit, the braking points etc or for the more experienced to help you shave off a few seconds each lap. Once the day is finished we retire to our hotel where no doubt all the extravagant (and possibly untrue!) stories of the day can be recounted over a nice meal and a drink or two.
Wednesday 30th June ï‚· After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel we check out We'll stop to refuel and then drive back across Belgium and The Netherlands to Rotterdam Our ferry sails in the evening where once more we have en-suite cabins.
