Specialist Cars of Malton

[FONT=Verdana"]Sometimes when you read forums, all there seem to be are complaints and general whinging. I thought I'd like to post something positive to make a nice change. I've recently moved up to North Yorks (we're near Thirsk) and I've just got back from my first visit to Specialist Cars in Malton. My poor old car is getting a battering at present because I'm having to use it daily, and I needed a couple of niggles sorted so off to Specialist Cars. They did the work while I waited, and fed me constant cups of coffee (and chocolate). I had the chance to look over some of the exotica in the showroom and read a few magazines. Finally Mike appeared and sat me down (gulp). However, rather than the wallet bashing I expected he explained that the brake warning light was only on because the sensor had corroded and failed so I didn't need the new pads I was expecting - only the sensor. They sorted the broken sensor, replaced the bulbs in my headlights, cleaned all the sh!te and dust out of the braking system, fettled my rattling heatshields, and gave the car a thorough look over - which is why Mike sat down and took the time to explain how it's general health was, and what would probably need sorting at the next visit. Oh, and they washed and hoovered the car - which was fantastic because I'm so busy at present I've only had time to wash it once a month and it is *FILTHY*. I came away from Malton not only pleased because all of the niggles were sorted, but with a clear idea of how much my next visit would cost - which lets me plan how to pay, and that good feeling you get after you've received excellent service. So well done Specialist Cars - you've most certainly earned my future custom. [FONT=verdana, geneva"][:)]

Fully agree, they have always been more than fair with me and take a real pleasure in ensuring that a customer is happy with their service.

Their down to earth and sensible attitude is worlds apart from the OPC experience and all the better for it.
